I’ve been thinking about this blog for a long time– ok a really long time. You see, I love having a career, love being a businesswoman. Even more, I love seeing good people succeed and I’m fascinated by the qualities that make a good leader.
When I began my career many years ago, I was amazed by the business world- the politics, the personalities, the games. Navigating has been challenging at times but I’ve been fortunate to have a great network of mentors and sponsors who have helped me along the way.
What better way to honor those who have helped me than by paying it forward and sharing the great advice and best practices – and by hearing from some of those leaders in their own words. My objective for Lead with Intuition is to inspire and empower others through the lessons that have helped me along the way.
It would only be fair to thank some of the folks who have inspired me to begin this journey.
Michael Brenner, supportive husband and B2BMarketingInsider extraordinaire. Thanks for listening to me spew out my ideas incessantly and for helping me not to over-analyze the blog name.
Brian Rice, the B2CMarketingInsider extraordinaire. Thanks for your prodding tweets to get started.
Dan Criel, the technical genius who did all the back end work on my new blog: Lead With Intuition.
Lisa Petrilli, Thanks for your inspiring #leadershipchat and for demonstrating what it means to be a fantastic female blogger on leadership.
Margie Clayman, another fabulous female blogger. Thanks for your honest and thought-provoking views on social media and marketing.
Georgia Feiste, yet another fabulous female blogger. Thank you for your inspiring quotes and posts on women and leadership and for being a great Twitter friend and supporter.
There are countless others who have supported and encouraged me as I sought guidance on how best to begin this journey. I’m not sure exactly how this will turn out but as someone said to me, “the only failure at this point would be not starting.”
With that, let the games begin!
