A Step-by-Step Guide for the Overwhelmed + Energy Drained

Feel uncomfortable in busy open space environments? ... Me too!

Does this sound familiar? You’re excited to venture out, you’re wearing your best smile, you enter the vast open space, there are people everywhere … suddenly you’re feeling overwhelmed.

As you navigate your environment, take it all in and remain in this space, you start to feel drained and even exhausted.

Where is this feeling coming from?

You’re actually NOT alone AND your feelings could even be your biggest asset.

Hiya I’m Christina!

Intuition-Loving Coach, Speaker + Truth-Teller.

There was a lovely time in my career when I had the luxury of working in a private office, with a window and a door!

Well, that was short lived.

ENTER: the open workspace concept.

Oh, how I missed my door – and not for the reasons you probably think. I love people and am very social. It's wonderful to connect with others, share ideas and collaborate on projects in real time.

But I also noticed that open space just flat-out exhausts me.

The constant stimulation, chatter, artificial lighting, white noise and no-boundaries-whatsoever can be quite overwhelming.

And, for me, this is the case whether the environment is happy and welcoming, difficult and dreary, or anything in between.

For a time, I truly questioned how other people were totally fine with open space. And, I wondered: What is wrong with me?

Then I discovered the Highly Sensitive Person (HSP) / Empath Connection

I’m not big on labels, but I was pretty happy when I came across articles and books on Highly Sensitive People and Empaths. I was like, Yes, Yes, Yes, that’s me – I am not imagining this!

Soon, I discovered what it means to be both an HSP and an empath and the effect on my energy levels.

Then, I immediately went into denial because, you know, I’m from Brooklyn – I didn’t want to be highly sensitive! 😃

Truth Time

Statistically, about 20% of people are highly sensitive. I believe this number is likely a lot higher because let’s face it, we hide this kind of stuff.

I never talked about this at work because I was afraid of the social stigma and losing professional credibility.

Don’t worry, I’ve got your back!

In open space, people like us are not only managing their own inner mind, body, spirit connection and work responsibilities … but we are also picking up constant cues around us in a pretty intense, somatic way!

Whether it’s an open space work environment, a large event or function, the mall, a concert, social gathering, or even a stroll in your favorite large city, you’re going to need to know how to work with your "feels."

I’ve created a step-by-step roadmap (including recommended articles, books and exercises) so you can embrace your feelings as your greatest asset, navigate open space environments with ease and leave feeling even MORE energized.

You're going to learn to:

identify what's really going on with you and why it's actually awesome
